“Verona Walls” - DOVS

I love analog synthesizers. They do something to my chest and make me feel in love with the world. I can’t explain it. New track, “Verona Walls,” by DOVS is a simple, soothing, meditation in synthesis and it unfolds beautifully, allowing you to get into a serene state, if only for six minutes and 49 seconds.

It also reminds me a little bit of of the music from the Lost in Translation soundtrack— specifically Squarepusher’s “Tommib.” So, in a way, “Verona Walls” brings me back to that feeling of watching Lost in Translation for the first time and the warm, coziness that film.
